If I think about comedy and the actors who are currently prime examples of it, Liam Neeson would never come to mind. Don't get me wrong, he is a great actor, but this is not a role for him.
Without looking it up, I couldn't name a single (pure) comedy movie or show he was in.

The only person I could think of to play this role would be Rashida Jones, but only since she has already proven herself in Angie Tribeca which has the exact same style of comedy.

But, since this is in fact a comedy, I will be watching it anyways smile

No one knew that Leslie Nielsen, was so good at dead pan comedy until later in life. Once they seen his talent they exploited it it to no end. And we have been blessed by his talent.

And I have a feeling from seeing the trailer, that Liam Neeson has the same gift.

I for on will watch this.

If the writing is good this movie will be a hit. Just read the comments under the trailer. A lot of people are looking forward to this.

I was going to say the same thing. Leslie Nielsen was a matinee idol leading man until he was in his fifties.
